Prep Sportswear
Prep Sportswear is one of the largest U.S. manufacturers of customizable sports apparel. They equip people with easy access to creating their own fully customizable e-commerce store.
In my time at Prep Sportswear, I oversaw a total overhaul of the team store experience. This portion of the product houses all of Prep Sportswear’s custom store capabilities from sign up, customization and store completion.

OVERVIEW
THE CHALLENGE
Ultimately, it drove customers away from Prep Sportswear and persuaded them to shop with its direct competitors. By leveraging analytics, customer service conversations, and reviews left on the site, I was able to identify major pain points within the current product.
RESEARCH
I did a thorough assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of competitors to discover opportunities and created a user flow to demonstrate a coach who needed to build their team store.
WIREFRAMING
After sketching various possible solutions, I created prototypes that would allow me to test and gather quick user insights that address the core pain points.
LAUNCHING A MVP
In the concepts I explored a number of ways to differentiate our product from the competition. With a modular approach and an iterative mindset, we knew that we could layer in the differentiation over time.
RESULTS
After picking out the MVP we went to launch with, there was a lot more exploration I did visually to simplify and create a cohesive experience across the team store platform.
